Diddy is gearing up for the launch of his latest MTV reality series, "Starmaker" by holding auditions throughout the U.S. in search of talent for the show.Expecting to give some competition to other well-known performance-based programs like "American Idol," the MTV project will place Diddy as host and producer alongside tv personality Mark Burnett as they try to find for the most talented singers in the country.
"Diddy is currently looking to sign two fresh artists to his label Bad Boy Records - one guy and one girl will be given the opportunity of a lifetime."While Puff has primarily focused on hip-hop and R&B in the past, this competition promises he is "looking for all styles from soulful R&B and energetic pop singers, to twangy country and hot rockers."
Participants must be at least 18 years-old - the first auditions will take place this Saturday,

trial for aggravated murder, Tremayne Durham was dreaming of buckets of
fried chicken.
Last week, as part of a plea deal, he got it. Two kinds. Circuit Court
Judge Eric Bergstrom agreed to the unusual arrangement. Shortly after
pleading guilty, Durham sat down to a feast of KFC chicken, Popeye’s
fried chicken, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, carrot cake and Hagen-Dazs ice cream.

Shady Mayor of Detroit to do some time in jail
Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick will spend the night in jail after a
judge ruled he violated the terms of his bond in his perjury case by
making a business trip to Canada and not informing the court. Judge
Ronald Giles ordered Kilpatrick to jail Thursday, a decision the judge
said he would have made for any “John Six-Pack” defendant before him.
The mayor made an unauthorized trip to Canada last month, leading the
county prosecutor’s office to request Kilpatrick be punished and
triggering the judge’s ruling.
