THE LORD IS MY LIGHT AND MY SALVATION; WHOM SHALL I FEAR? THE LORD IS THE STRENGTH OF MY LIFE; OF WHOM SHALL I BE AFRAID? WHEN THE WICKED, EVEN MINE ENEMIES AND MY FOES, CAME UPON ME TO EAT UP MY FLESH, THEY STUMBLED AND FELL. On Januarary 26, 2008 - The Nordstrom Scholarship Awards Ceremony took place in San Francisco, CA. God gave me the will and strength to take on such a n adventure I was soon to be ready for or hold on to. This is the day my daughter, LANA has shown her love and admiration to stay strong and let the past be in the past. I am a proud mother a phenomenal woman who must say my daughter, Lana made it through with her in depth undersatnding of family, support, and God in her life.
As a woman and mother I have overcame some obstacles in that point and time in my life that left my children alone. I have not been there for her like most parents, but I am here now, the new me, the loving of self me. My own struggles and transgressions made life hard, but quess what? I made it and so have Lana. I know she is strong, self love, family, guidance, and support.
I am sharing this to the world because no one, I mean no one can still this JOY & LOVE I have for life in itself.
YOU GO MOTHER'S FIRST BORN, FIRST SCHOLAR, FIRST EVERYTHING!!!

I just had to let this ride or sall I say fly out of me at this given time and moment. For the pass year to be exact a Sister have been going through this storm of reflection on guess who "me". My family have been here nor there for quite some period and enough is enough and guess what its finally over from this point on. I broke down to the break down of no more, death wasn't an option, drugs has never been the key, and lastly drinking has been a leech to my satisfaction. A Sister has not been around the madness which I created or may I say the choices I have made because I have always been the track star. After the thunderstorm, God showed me the rainbow on the other side of Ms. Melina's New Life of 2008. He wanted me to see for a long time and still counting the days because there is a whole lot of love, peace, and family flowing through my veins. Blessed with a place to call my own, I'm not living just for Me, but my 3 daughters I Love Unconditionally! I am finally living the life of "me". And it feel great to know that all my hard work, being humble, praying, working, and enjoyng the spiritual life that has been laid out for us all. I just had to let this out.
