JAY-Z TO OWN THE YANKEES?
Jay-Z already owns pretty much everything. He’s got a clothing line, the 4040 clubs and part of the New Jersey Nets basketball team. Now, it looks like he may be purchasing some of the New York Yankees baseball franchise. Hov says that someone told him that there was a piece of the Yankees up for grabs and Jay said he was in the “middle of following that through.” Hmmm...the rich get richer...LUV IT!

DEATH ROW RECORDS...SOLD!!
Death Row Records was sold at an auction for $24 MIL. Global Music Group grabbed Death Row’s assessts which include recordings from Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg and Tupac. The sale also includes 20 unreleased Tupac tracks, which may be out later this year. Of course!

RUSSELL SIMMONS...YOU MUST PAY!!
Kimora Lee Simmons, who filed for divorce in March after 9yrs of marriage-- was granted sole legal and physical custody of daughters Ming Lee, 8, and Aoki Lee, 5, on Tuesday. Russell Simmons was granted supervised visits with his daughters one week of every eight, additional time during summer vacation and over the holidays. Additionally, Russ has been ordered to pay $20,000 a month per child...do the math, that's $480,000 a year!! He'll have to pay this amount until each of his daughters turns 18. OOOH WEEE!

TIMBALAND SIGNS OMARION...FA REAL?!
YES...it's true Omarion is now signed to Timbaland's Mosley Music Group and O says,
“I’m really excited about this project. Timbaland is like family to me, so it’s always great to work with family and I think this is going to be my best album yet. I’m happy to call Mosley Music Group my new home.”
His album will be released before the end of the year, produced of course by Timbo with features by Justin Timberlake and Keri Hilson.
