Love and Pain
My mind has grown blank, these past couple of days
And my mouth has forgotten what to say
My mind tell me this is an illusion
But my eyes tell me it's my reality
Caught underneath strands of pain
Wishing I could see crystal clear this day
But as I mentally move forward
Mentally I begin to backtrack
If only I could feel my feet
Id use them to escape this cold feeling underneath
That has captured my mood
Leaving it tempered and fooled
This has taken me off my pedestal
And as my emotions start to cry
I no longer feel the tears trapped inside
As they walk across my face, I've become a ghost
Trapped inside this body I've learned to no
Waiting on a place far to go
It's as of seconds are minutes
And minutes became hours
While hours turn into days
I'm absent by love.......yet caressed by pain
